Betty Junkins Bean

Mrs. Betty Louise Junkins Bean, 90, formerly of Robert Beck Road, died Sunday, December 9, at Brookstone of Lexington.    A funeral service will be held at 3pm Tuesday, December 18 at Sheets Memorial Baptist Church, by the Rev. Frankie Matthews.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.    The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.    Mrs. Bean was born October 27, 1928 in Anderson County, SC to William Clarence Junkins and Effie Williams Junkins.  She was a member of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church.  Her husband, William Edward Bean; her brothers, Walter “Gene” Junkins, and William “Billy” Junkins; and her sisters, Evelyn Smith, Edna Powell, Hazel Gunner, and Helen Brewer, preceded her in death.    She is survived by many nieces and nephews.    Memorials should be directed to Sheets Memorial Baptist Church, 210 Cotton Grove Rd., Lexington, NC 27292.
