Betty Kaye Smith Boesenberg

Bettina “Betty” Kaye Smith Boesenberg, 77, of Westridge Rd., Advance died Monday, December 7, 2015 in Forsyth Medical Center after a short illness. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 12, 2015 at First Alliance Church with Rev. Paul Titus officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Missionary Alliance Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. Mrs. Boesenberg was born December 4, 1938 in DeKalb County, GA to Glenn Edwin Smith and Harriet Olive Driscoll Smith. A member of First Alliance Church, she was a Missionary and Pastor’s wife for The Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Alfred Alexander Boesenberg of the home; two sons, Eric Boesenberg (Beth) of Florida, Greg Boesenberg of Advance, NC; a daughter, Kim Kinyoun (Lee) of Mocksville; six grandchildren, Alex Boesenberg, Elisa Boesenberg, Andrew Boesenberg, Angelica Boesenberg, Jaclene Kinyoun, Leanna Kinyoun; one great grandchild, Lilly Baity; two brothers, Ken Smith (Teri) of Florida, and Bob Smith (Celeste) of Texas.
