Betty Marley Boggs

Betty Imogene Marley Boggs, 93, of Linwood, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her residence on June 8, 2026.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 12, 2026, at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro with Rev. Sam Harvey officiating.

Betty was born April 27, 1933, in Randolph County, North Carolina, to the late Rhoda Neugent Marley and Clyde Thomas Marley. She worked as an inspector for Wells Textiles and was known for her hardworking spirit and devotion to her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Michael Alan Boggs (Araina) and Robert Thomas Boggs; brothers, Ted William Marley and Jesse Herman Marley (Louannie); sisters, Madrid Redding (Frank), Dee Coombs (Willis), and Mary Craven (Sherman); and sister-in-law, Hilda Marley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Beverly Harvey (Rev. Sam Harvey); brother, June Thomas Marley; daughter in law, Wendy Boggs; grandchildren, Sam (Erin) David (Katie), Eric, Ami (Ethan), Kennedy, Kenndel (Evan), and Kelbey (Shelby); and great-grandchildren, Aleigha, Jeremiah, Gaige, Marley, Michael, Lucy, Finley, Ronan, Everleigh, Amelia, and Raina.
