Betty Rose Everhart Cecil

Betty Rose Everhart Cecil age 82, of Welcome passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday at First Baptist Church of Welcome on December 20, 2012 with Rev. Mark Blair and special family friend Larry Sides. Burial will follow to the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel and other times at the home. Betty was born August 24, 1930 in Davidson County to Walter Grant Everhart and Vonie Byerly Everhart. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Welcome and WMU - Womens Missionary Union. She was a retired employee of Wooten Printing. She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter; Glenda June Cecil Wicker, her son-in-law Mickey Wicker, her grandson; Larry Scott Wishon, her sisters; Mary Ruth Morrison, infant Dorothy Everhart. Surviving are her husband of 66 years married December 4, 1946 Artis Gray Cecil of the home, her daughter; Gail Cecil Wishon and husband Steve , her son; Donald Cecil and wife Gina all of Welcome, her grandchildren; Tammy Fowler and husband Darren of Wallburg, Josh Wicker and wife Lynn of Franklinville, NC, Laura Cecil and fiancé Phillip Eisenman, her great grandchildren; Dalton Fowler, Karsyn Fowler, Mariah Wicker, Jessie Wicker, Issac Wicker and baby boy to be Konner.
