Betty Pierce Coppley, age 77 of Center Clair Nursing Home formerly of Brown Street, Lexington died Monday morning in Center Clair. Graveside Services will be conducted
at 11:00 am Wednesday at Forest Hill Memorial Park with burial to follow. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at Davidson Funeral Home from 6 until 8 pm and at other times at the home of her son Lewis Coppley, Jr. 1204 Brown Street, Lexington. Betty was born in Davidson county July 15, 1929 to Sidney Lee Pierce and Sadie Tetter Pierce. She
was a member of Jersey Baptist Church, and a retired employee of Lexington Furniture Industries office, Plant 4. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband James Lewis Coppley, Sr. on October 25, 2000. Surviving are: Son; Lewis Coppley, Jr. and wife Tanya of Lexington, Daughter; Pat Tysinger and husband Jerry of Lexington, 4 Grandchildren; Donnie Tysinger, Patrick Tysinger, Brandi Tysinger Temple and Chad Coppley,
2 Step Grandchildren; John Ange, Jr. and Jennifer Ange, 10 Great-Grandchildren, Brothers: Gilbert Pierce of Thomasville and Paul Pierce of Lexington, Sisters; Tennie Foster of Lexington and Seba Norman of High Point.
