Betty Berrier Craver 78 of Welcome passed away early Wednesday morning, October 19, 2016 at Grayson Creek of Welcome. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church with Rev. Sandra Ireson officiating. A visitation will be held at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM. Betty was born in Davidson County on June 12, 1938 to the late Howard Rodger Berrier and Mable Fritts Berrier. She retired after 37 years at Dixie Furniture and also kept books at T & B Motors. She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church and was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Tommy (Debo) Franklin Craver (02/03/2011). Surviving are sisters; Peggy Link (Richard) of Lexington, Brenda Arant (Wayne) of Lake Wales, FL; nieces, Melinda Sierra (Fernando) of Winston-Salem, Cathy Tesh, Janice Gage (Bobby), Sandra Ball (Eddie) all of Lexington; nephew, Craig Link (Misty) of Lexington; great nephews, Jeremy Tesh (Lauren) of Whitsett, NC, Steven Tesh (Kelli) of Lexington and Zachary Ball of Lexington; great nieces, Courtney Grubbs (Brandon) of Lexington, Erica Dalla Tezza of Charlotte, Jessica Dalla Tezza of St. Petersburg , FL, Julie James of Winston-Salem; great great niece, Charlotte Tesh of Lexington, Delilah Paisley Russell of Winston-Salem and great great nephew, Corbin Tesh of Lexington.
