Betty Caroline Goss Everhart, 85, of Beck’s Church Road, went home to be with Jesus, Monday, February 4, 2013, at Hinkle Hospice House following declining health for one year.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2013, at Sheets Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Frankie Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Everhart was born November 2, 1927, in Davidson County, to Hugh Goss and Addie Tussey Goss. She was retired from Henry Link Furniture. She loved her church and the Willing Workers Sunday school class.
Surviving are her husband, Eugene Gray Everhart of the home; son, Johnny Foil Everhart of Kernersville; daughters, Carolyn Robbins and husband Gary of Trinity Patty Trantham and husband Tip of Linwood; three grandchildren, Angie Taylor, Bradley Everhart, and Casey Trantham; three step-grandchildren, Rhonda Brown, Marty Robbins and Randy Robbins; four great-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma Jean Dunning of Lexington and Mildred Costello of Virginia.
