Betty McMillan Gregory, 78, of Weaver Drive, died Wednesday, August 17 at her home. A celebration of life will be held at 3pm Sunday, August 21 at First United Methodist Church in Lexington, where she was a member, by the Revs. Cheryl Skinner and Kirk Tutterow. A private burial will be held at Floral Garden Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service at in the church fellowship hall. Betty was born May 30, 1944 in Guilford County to French Lewis McMillan and Jeanette Coggin McMillan. She worked in sales for many years for her family’s company, Acme Face Veneer, and later, as a realtor. She was very active in her church, the Davidson County Democratic Party, and her community. Her parents, and her sister-in-law, Nancie McMillan, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Michael Frick of the home; her daughters, Allison Gregory of Raleigh, Blythe John (Ryan) of Allen Park, MI, and Allison Frick of Lexington; her brother, Lewis McMillan (Connie) of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Gregory Jesseph, Marley Jesseph, Padraig John, Finley John, Calder John, and MaryAnsely John.
