Betty "Jean" Byrd Robbins

January 8, 1957 — December 16, 2021

Betty “Jean” Byrd Robbins, 64, of Clark Road, Linwood, died Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Hinkle Hospice House, Lexington, after declining health.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Hill Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Tommy Robbins. Family will see friends from 11:30 to 12:30 on Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Robbins was born January 8, 1957 in Davie County to Clarence Ray Byrd and Ruby Burton Byrd. She was employed with National Wholesale and worked for Dixie Furniture for over 22 years. And was of the Baptist faith. Betty love going to the target range where she enjoyed shooting her gun. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donnie Ray Robbins who died July 3, 2006, her brother, Danny Ray Byrd.

Surviving are her son, Marty Ray Robbins of Linwood; one daughter, Angela Renee Swink and husband, Roger, of Tyro; two grandchildren, Brandi Swink and Meagan Swink of Tyro; great grandson, Jaydon Snow, sisters, Debbie Leonard and husband, Tommy of Linwood; Cathy Robbins and husband, Mitchell of Salisbury; Ann Wishon and husband, Charles of Mocksville; also surviving are her brother, Roger Dale Byrd. And her special friend, David “J.P.” Anderson of Wytheville, V.A.
