Betty Kepley

Betty Jean Owens Kepley, age 87 of Bremen Drive passed away Wednesday night at her home surrounded by her loving family.

A private service will be held in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Luck officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Betty was born in Rowan County on August 30, 1932 to Albert McKinley Owens and Lena Feezor Owens. She was a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ and when she retired she was Personnel Director with Lexington Furniture. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 70 years, Robert Hill Kepley who passed away May 23, 2020; infant son, Mark Stephen Kepley; teenage son, Tod McKinley Kepley; and her two siblings.

Surviving are her sons, Kent Kepley (Cindy), and Tad Kepley (Elizabeth) of Lexington; daughters, Susan Calloway of Albemarle and Jane Ann Kepley of Greensboro; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
