Betty Burkhart Lanier

Betty Sue Burkhart Lanier age 83 passed away Wednesday November 4, 2020 at Grayson Creek.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 14th at North Lexington Baptist Church with Pastor Gavin Pratt officiating.  The family will receive friends after the service at the son's home on Sink Road in Lexington.

Ms.Lanier was born July 21, 1937 in Davidson County to Vernon Odell Burkhart and Mamie Lee Duffey Burkhart. She was a homemaker and a member of Second United Church of Christ. Her parents and a son, Ronnie Lanier all preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, Bobbi DeVara of Churchland, Debra Roe of Nebraska, Ricky Lanier (Gloria) of Welcome, Cindy Martin (Roger) of Lexington,Tina Everhart (Derrick) of Lexington and Tami Lanier of Lexington. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
