Betty Edwards Leonard

Betty Jean Edwards Leonard, 85, of Lexington, died Sunday March 29, 2020 at Grayson Creek Assisted Living.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Keith Perkins conducting services.

Mrs. Leonard was born September 1, 1934 in Davidson to Issac Lee Edwards and Louetta Hepler Edwards. She was retired from Hamricks, and a member of Testimonial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving is one son, Rick Leonard (Laura) of Southmont; one daughter, Robin Byerly (Robert Kuykendall) of Thomasville; one sister, Gail Myers of Lexington and 4 grandchildren, Gary Byerly (Karyn) of High Pont, Farrah Graves (Ron ) of Archdale, Emma Brock (Marco Leuta) of Archdale,  and Brittany Bean Neil Brown of Lexington ; 4 great-grandchildren, Leianna, Landon, Joshua and Molly; and many nieces and nephews.
