Betty Leonia Morris Schuyler

Betty Leonia Morris Schuyler 80 of Winston-Salem passed away early Friday morning, February 27, 2015 at her home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the National Cemetery of Salisbury with Pastors Avery Varnadore and Jason Holley officiating. No public visitation will be held. Betty was born in Galax, VA on July 19, 1934 to James Wilburn and Rachel Azlee Morris. She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Dean Schuyler; a brother, Howard Morris and a sister, Mary Goodnough. Surviving are two daughters, Regina Schuyler Thomas (Tim) of Lexington, K. Denise Schuyler Mathews (Scott) of Winston-Salem; brother, Joe Morris (Drema) of VA; sisters, Christine Hodge (Wade), Velma Jones (Roger) all of Galax, VA; two grandchildren, Daniel Evan Leake and Christopher Scott Matthews.
