Betty Lou Walser Weaver, 84, of Davidson County, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, March 27, 2026.
Born on May 23, 1941, in Davidson County, Betty was the daughter of the late Olin Walser and Eliza Katherine Craver Walser. She was a woman of deep faith, known for her enduring love of Jesus and her devotion to her church community. Betty faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher at Good Hope Methodist Church, where she touched many lives with her kindness and wisdom.
Betty cherished her family above all else. One of nine siblings, she grew up in a large, loving family and carried that same spirit of togetherness throughout her life. She had a special gift for bringing people together and found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved.
In her quieter moments, Betty enjoyed sewing, canning, and tending to her vegetable gardens, simple pleasures that reflected her nurturing and caring nature.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Homer Ray Weaver; her son, Tony Ray Weaver; and her daughter, Sandra Diane Weaver.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Vickie Lanier (Marty C.); five cherished grandchildren; eleven adored great-grandchildren; and her special niece, Renee Singleton, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations and memorials can be made to Good Hope Methodist Church at 10253 Hampton Rd, Lexington, NC 27295
Betty’s legacy of faith, love, and family will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
