Betty Ann McBride, 60, of North Garfield Avenue, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at her home.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Craig Barnhill. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery.
Ms. McBride was born Nov. 17, 1945, in Davidson County to Robert Lee McBride and Lovie McBride. She was a former seamstress at Manhattan Shirt Manufacturing and attended Holloways Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Women of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Spencer. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Gene McBride, Willard McBride, Spanky McBride and Sherwood McBride; and two sisters, Evelyn Ciuffetelli and Katie Briggman.
Surviving are a loving companion, John Kuntz of the home; two sons, James Lincourt of Greensboro and Robert Eaton of High Point; a brother, Russell McBride of Lexington; and three sisters, Fay Conrad of Thomasville, Clara Thomas and her husband, Troy, of High Point and Carolyn Dobson and her husband, the Rev. Jimmy Dobson, of Lumberton.
The family received friends Sunday night at Davidson Funeral Home and will do so at other times at the home of her sister, Fay Conrad, 395 Lower Lake Road.
