Betty Jane Mccrary

Betty Jane McCrary, age 77 of Oak Forest Health & Rehabilitation, Winston Salem, formerly of Midway died Tuesday, August 25, 2009 in Hinkle Hospice House after an extended illness. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Bethesda United Methodist Church with Rev. Dennis Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Betty was born September 10, 1931 in Davidson County to Joseph Frank McCrary and Mentie Kinney McCrary. A member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, she was a former employee of Siceloff Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her parents, a twin brother and sister, David Franklin McCrary and Frances McCrary Townsend, another brother Johnny Ray McCrary, sisters, Peggy McCrary Freedle, Ruth McCrary Deitz, Mary Helen McCrary and Iris McCrary Jessup. Surviving are a sister, Nancy McCrary of Lexington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church parlor and other times at the home of the sister, Nancy McCrary, 1212 Regency Center Circle.
