Betty Snipes Page, age 86 of Brookstone Retirement Center formerly of Horseshoe Neck Road passed away Sunday afternoon September 11, 2016 at Brookstone. A memorial service will be held 5:00 pm Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 198 Fuller Street, Lexington with Mr. Larry Hicks officiating. There will be no public visitation. Betty was born in Cabarrus County December 29, 1929 to Eddie Carl and Margie Archer Snipes. She was a homemaker and married Paul Page, June 10, 1951 until his death on March 20, 1988. She was a Jehovah’s Witness. Her delight was teaching others about the Bible. Surviving are her daughter, Saundra Barber and husband Danny of Lexington; three grandsons, Clint, Brett and Nick Barber and their wives and four great-grandchildren, Sophia, Aydan, Bryson and Lila.
