Betty Foust Perryman age 82 of Clodfelter Road passed away early Monday morning on July 4, 2011 at High Point Regional Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. John Woods, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, July 5th at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree and other times at the home.
Betty was born on May 6, 1929 in Davidson County to the late Everette Wesley Foust and Rosa Clodfelter Foust. She was a life long member of Midway United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for 20 years. Betty was a volunteer with Forsyth Medical Center for 29 years and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years Paul L. Perryman, Jr. of the home; one son, Nelson Perryman and his wife Mary of Lexington; one daughter Beverly Perryman Harper and her husband Michael of Charleston, SC; a brother, H. B. Foust and his wife Jeanne of Clemmons; a sister, Carlene Clodfelter and her husband John of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Harper, Rosa Harper, Jeff Perryman and wife Kandace, Beth Phelps and husband Josh; five great-grandchildren, Kailey, Mason, Ryan, Ashton and Aubrey.
