Betty Conrad Ridenhour

December 30, 1918 — July 18, 2018

Betty Conrad Ridenhour, 87, formerly of US Hwy 64 West, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Alston Brook Nursing Home.   A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 21 at Forest Hill Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Sam Harvey.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and at other times at their respected homes.   Betty was born on December 18, 1930 in Davidson County to John and Nina Michael Conrad.  She was a retired bookkeeper and attended Trinity United Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, James Bryce Bumgarner, second husband, James Edwin Ridenhour, third husband, Thomas Frank Ridenhour, and sister, Billie Nielsen.   Surviving is her son, Richard Bumgarner (Debbie), daughter, Belinda Nifong (Chuck), six grandchildren, Corey Smith, Marty Smith, Nathan Bumgarner, Amy Bumgarner, Lesley Hulin and Jennifer Burrow, and six great-grandchildren.   The family would like to give special thanks to the caregivers at Alston Brook for the loving kindness shown to Betty.   In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to American Stroke Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
