Betty Walser Robbins, 85, of Hoover Rd., Lexington died Wednesday at WFBH-Lexington Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Saturday in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Robbins and Rev. Butch Conrad officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1to 2 pm prior to the service.
Betty was born in Davidson County, October 16, 1928, to Zeb Lester and Emma Everhart Walser.
She was a retired employee of Lexington Furniture and a member of Christ United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon Eugene Robbins; son, Kenneth Edward Robbins; sisters, Dot Dunn and Mildred Leonard; brother, James Lester Walser; son-in-law, Dannie Strickland.
Surviving are her daughters, Betty Freedle (Charles), Christine Strickland and Debbie Younts (Avery) all of Lexington; grandchildren, Michelle Balckwelder (Brent), Suzanne Kammer (Ryan), Lisa Robbins, Jodie Hall (Will), Justin Robbins (Misty), Jessica Robbins, Casey Robbins (Elizabeth), Garrett Younts (Susanna), Shea Strickland and Caleb Younts; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Frankie Ballew of Lexington.
