Betty Rose Berrier Hedrick

Betty Rose Berrier Hedrick, age 77 of Lorven Drive Lexington passed away Monday evening at Lexington Medical Center after several years of declining health. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Becks Reformed Church with Rev. Dr. Steve Disher and Rev. Steve Regan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 Wednesday night and at other times at the home. Betty was born in Davidson County, July 2, 1940 to John Wade Berrier and Dorothy Whitaker Berrier. She was secretary for Carolina Abrasives and a homemaker. She was a member of Becks Reformed Church where she was very active in many aspects of the church. She and husband Jerry delivered for Meals on Wheels and volunteered for The Pastors Pantry. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shelia Hedrick Looper in 2008; her sister, Kay Cooper and her brother, John Berrier, Jr. Surviving are her husband, Jerry Ray Hedrick of the home; daughters, Amanda Hedrick (Christie) and Dana Hedrick-Burnsides (Jeffrey) all of Lexington; granddaughter, Rose Burnsides and step-granddaughter, Hayley Musgrave. In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to Becks Reformed Church, 2845 Becks Church Road, Lexington, NC 27292 or donor’s choice of charity.
