Betty Simmons Ross

Betty Simmons Ross passed away peacefully on September 12, 2023, while surrounded by loved ones.  She was 76 years old.

She is survived by her three children Keith (Kim) Watts, Ricky (Vickie) Watts, and Sonya (Todd) Craver; her grandchildren Samantha, Taylor, Hannah, Gavin, Sarah, Abbey, Jake, Aidan, and her great-grandson Forrest.  She is also survived by her siblings Dan, Becky, Jack, Shirley, Jerry, and Pat.

She is predeceased by her parents, her brother Ken, and her granddaughter, Katelyn.  She lived most of her life in North Carolina.  Almost all of her career was in dietary management both civilian and military.  Betty served in the Army for seven years then retired from the Air National Guard.

She loved flower gardening and football but most of all, spending time with her grandkids.

The memorial service for Betty Ross will be on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethesda United Methodist Church.  Visitation will follow the service.
