Betty Winebarger Todd

Betty Naomi Winebarger Todd, 87, of Joan Drive in Lexington, passed away Tuesday September 27, 2022 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday September 29, 2022 at Maranatha Baptist Tabernacle Church, where she was a member, with Dr. Rev. Harold Fletcher officiating services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Thursday at the Church.

Mrs. Todd was born September 20, 1935 in Ashe County North Carolina to William Roby Winebarger and Mary Adaline Taylor Winebarger. Bette retired from Thomas Manufacturing and enjoyed sewing , putting together puzzles and giving out Bibles to all the children who attended church.. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Max Winebarger, Clifford Winebarger, Evans Winebarger, Bill Winebarger, William Winebarger and Roger Winebarger; and five sisters, Mae Baity, Mary Roach, Annie Winebarger, Martha Winebarger and Margaret Greer.

Surviving is her husband, Thomas Todd, of the home; a son. Mike Todd of Lexington; one brother, James Winebarger of Statesville; one sister, Gladys Campbell of Harmony North Carolina;  1 grandchild, Jonathan Todd;1 great-grandchild Caleb Todd; 2 step grandchildren, Trevor Shook and Lilly Shook.
