Betty King Tullock

Betty King Tullock, 90 of Cedar Drive, Lexington died Wednesday morning in Lexington Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Tullock who made her home with her daughter, Lois for the past 17 years was born in Grayson County, VA on November 3, 1915 to John Emery King and Annie Long King. She was retired from Astoria of Braid in Booneville and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas Tullock and her son Danny Tullock who died on Dec. 7, 2005. Surviving are sons Roy Bandy of Mt. Airy and Anthony Turner of Cape Canaveral, FL; daughter Lois Laney of Lexington; one granddaughter, four grandsons and seven greatgrandchildren; and a sister Bertha Lankford of Lexington The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel, conducted by Rev. Clyde Akers. Burial will follow at Elkin Valley Baptist Church in Elkin, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel and at other times at the home of her daughter; 312 Cedar Drive, Lexington.
