Betty McNabb Williamson, 73, of Woodland Avenue, died Sunday, March 19, 2006, at the home of her daughter in Tega Cay, S.C., after two years of declining health.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Clyde Akers. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Williamson was born Dec. 6, 1932, in Jacksonville, Fla., to James Grady McNabb and Mary Giorgetti McNabb. She operated TLC Day Care for 27 years and was preceded in death by her husband, Worth Williamson Jr.
Surviving are two sons, Larry Spivey and his wife, Faye, of Lexington, and Jack O'Neal and his wife, Karen, of Portland, Ore.; three daughters, Nadine Wilson and her husband, Mike, and Jackie Hinson, all of Lexington, and Shelly Williamson Lemajic and her husband, Petar, of Tega Cay, S.C.; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two beloved dogs, Clyde and Flossy.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at the home.
