Beuford Odell Tetter

April 19, 1922 — June 13, 2008

Beuford Odell Tetter, 86, of Winter Place and formerly of Cow Palace Road, Lexington, died Thursday evening at his home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Harold Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Tetter was born April 19, 1922 in Davidson County to Henry H. Tetter and Pearl Mae Tetter. Mr. Tetter was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII. He was retired from PPG and attended Union Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Myrtle Marion Tetter who passed away in 1998, two brothers Carl Tetter and Clyde Tetter; two sisters Mae Everhart, and Helen Shaw, and a nephew Don Tetter. Mr. Tetter is survived by a son Michael Tetter and wife Debbie of Lexington, and a granddaughter Sammie Jo Tetter. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington, and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, PO Box 1941, Lexington, NC 27293. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice for the care given to Mr. Tetter during his illness.
