Beverly Robbins Nelson

Beverly Robbins Nelson, 78, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

A graveside service will be held 11 am Friday, September 3, 2021, at the Randolph Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel 4538 N. Fayetteville St, Asheboro NC 27203 with Rev. Randy Foster officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Nelson was born February 1, 1943, in Randolph County to John Robbins and Mildred Hancock Robbins. She was a member of Tyro United Methodist Church and was a retired nurse for Rowan Hospital. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving is her husband, Jerry Nelson of the home; one daughter, Lori Penninger (Chad) of Lexington; two sisters, Deborah Lewis and Betsy Martin of Lexington; three grandchildren, Nelson Beam, Kelty Beam, Charlan Sams (Darin); and three great-grandchildren, Landon Kimbrell, Ellison, and Barrett Sams.
