"Big Eddie" Mize

Eddie Eugene Mize, 47 of Lexington passed away Tuesday April 4th at his home after declining health of several years.  A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday April 7th at Ebenezer United Methodist Church where he was a member with Rev. Barry Queen officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Mr. Mize was born in Davidson County on September 24, 1969 to Floyd Eugene Mize and Norean Byerly Mize. He was formerly employed with Foltz Concrete.  He was an avid deer hunter and a member of the Yadkin Coon Hunting Club.  Surviving is his mother of Lexington and sister Lucy Ann Mize of Lexington.  Memorials may be directed to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, P.O Box 410, Lexington, NC 27293
