Bill Matthew Craver

Bill Matthew Craver, 72 of Reedy Creek Road, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Lexington Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday December 4, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Welcome with Rev. Mark Blair officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday December 3, 2010 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel and other times at the home. Bill was born January 11, 1938 in Davidson County to Kenneth M. Craver and Jennie Freddle Craver. He was the owner and operator of Craver Masonry Co. and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Welcome. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother; Larry Craver. Surviving are his wife Virginia Crews Craver of the home, his son; Randy Craver and wife Sharon of Reedy Creek, his daughter; Shirley Leonard and husband Kim of Welcome, his brother; Wayne Craver and wife Betty of Reedy Creek, his sister in-law; Janie Craver of Lexington, his grandchildren; Zach Craver and wife Jennifer, Chase Leonard and wife Angie, Amanda Leonard, Kim Kepley and husband Ross, Jennifer Foltz and husband Alan. His great-grandchildren; Carter Kepley, Jake Foltz, Peyton Kepley, Maisie Foltz, Graylan Craver, Lilly Leonard.
