William “Bill” Earl Knote, age 80 of Biesecker Road, Lexington passed away Saturday (April 3, 2010) at his home. There will be no funeral service however, the family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday and at other times at the home.
Bill was born in Howard County, IN on March 21, 1930 to Von Knote and Mary Frances Foy Knote. He was a retired employee of Owens Illinois in Midway, before his retirement, a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Korean War. He was a 32degree Mason and former Grand Master of Lodge #1372 in White Settlement, TX. He was preceded in death by parents, and a brother and his wife Jean McDonald Knote, on June 4, 2008
Surviving are; three sons, Von Knote, fiancé Wanda Marion, Todd Knote and wife Tammy and Drew Knote and wife Annette all of Lexington; one daughter, Beth Ferguson and husband Doug of Lewisburg, KY; eleven grandchildren, Eric Knote, Karry Knote, Courtney Knote and Fiance` Caleb Atkins, Caleb Knote, Misty Foley and husband Trent, Helen Hurst, Rebecca Hurst, James Hurst, Philip Hurst, Quincy Morales Hurst, Izadora Morales Hurst; three great-grandchildren, Michael Foley, Katie Foley and Cooper Atkins.
