Bill James Martin

William “Bill” James Martin, 72, of Nat Conrad Road in Lexington passed away Wednesday April 10, 2024 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday April 15, 2024 at Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. David Robinson and Pastor Jerry Bowen officiating services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends on Sunday April 14, 2024 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Mr. Martin was born June 9, 1951 in Tennessee to James Lafyette Martin and Nola Brooks Carithers. He attended East End Baptist Church and enjoyed working on cars in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish is memory is loving wife, Carol Diane Watson Martin, of the home; his son, Tony Martin (Janet) of Lexington; daughter, Mellissa Williams (Carrell) of Lexington; four brothers, Tommy Martin, Steve Martin, David Martin and Buddy Martin, all of Tennessee; one sister, Charlotte Ann Lepard of Tennessee; 2 grandsons, Trevor Hinson (Caroline) and Hunter Hinson.
