Billie Jean Simmons

Billie Jean Simmons, 60 of Old 64, Lexington died Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at her home.

A graveside service will be held 11 am, Friday, January 28, 2022, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, 1019 W. Broad Street, St Paul, NC with Jimmy Baxley officiating the service. Visitation with family and friends will be held 5 to 7 pm,  Thursday, January 27 at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Billie was born in Cumberland County, August 13, 1961, to Cecil C. Baxley and Ruth Dow Baxley. She worked at the Patriot Mart as a Shift Manager. Billie is preceded in death by her father and husband, Marshall Wayne Simmons.

Surviving are her sons; Joseph Parker II (Beth), Chris Parker, brothers, Jimmy Baxley, Clay Baxley, John Barns, three grandchildren; Chelsa Clark, Jacob Parker, Christian Parker, and Erica Allred, one great-grandchild, Tessa Allred.
