Billy Samuel Adkins

Billy Samuel Adkins, 62, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, peacefully at his home. Billy was born on May 26, 1959, in Davidson County to the late William Nathus and Clora Williams Adkins. He worked for Power Curbers as a welder for many years. Billy enjoyed music, especially playing his guitar. He also loved being outdoors and riding his Harley.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Billy is survived by a son, Jake Adkins (Emily) of Lexington; girlfriend, Lynn Temple; a brother, Delayte Rivers Adkins of Lexington; a granddaughter, Sylvie; two nephews, Kirk Adkins and Travis Adkins; and good friend, Cindy Stutts.
