Billy Lynwood Barnhill

Billy Lynwood Barnhill, 80, of Spruce Street in Lexington, passed away Sunday February 8, 2026, at Atrium Baptist Medical Center in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday February 21, 2026 at Davidson Funeral Home with Rev. David Langley officiating services. Burial will follow at the Lexington City Cemetery. 

Billy was born August 1, 1945, in Davidson County to Warren Lynwood Barnhill and Muriel Marie Sealey Barnhill. He worked at Link Taylor for many years and enjoyed Baseball as well as Nas-Car racing. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Louise McCarn Barnhill; two sons, Jeff Barnhill and Brian Barnhill; and three brothers, Eugene “Tiny” Barnhill, Bobby Barnhill and Bryce “Tink” Barnhill.

Surviving are two grandchildren, Clay Barnhill and Coleman James; one great-grandchild; a niece, Angelia Barnhill; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Camelita Richardson and a special friend and care giver, Amy Beam.
