Billy "Bill" Thomas Glenn

Billy “Bill” Thomas Glenn, 79 of Brown Street, died Tuesday January 26, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington, and other times at the home on Brown Street. A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm Friday at Hilltop Baptist Church, where he was a member with Pastor William Seawell officiating services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Glenn was born September 1, 1936 in Washington County Tennessee to George Howard Glenn Sr. and Texie Greene Glenn. He was a member of Hill Top Baptist Church in Thomasville and was retired from Southern Resin. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; George Glenn Jr. and Harold Glenn as well as two sisters, Reba Moretz and Mabel Moretz. Surviving are his wife, Wilma Treva Glenn of the home; two sons, Jerry Glenn and wife Becca of Lexington and Frankie Glenn and wife Diane of Linwood; one daughter, Treva Groves and husband Mardy of Lexington; one brother Wallace Glenn and wife Rose Ann of Lexington; one sister Barbara Humphries of Lexington; five grandchildren, Miranda Everhart, Deana Thompson, Justin Glenn, Cole Glenn and Skylar Jones; and three great-grandchildren, Mahoganie Calvin, Aubrie Thompson
