Billy Forrest

Billy Forrest, age 69, of Jubilee Road, Linwood died Friday night in Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. He was born February 14, 1938 in Davidson County to James Alex (Buddy) Forrest and Helen Lomax Forrest. He was a retired self employed truck driver and honorably served his country in the US Air Force. A Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Monday August 27, 2007 at Christian Baptist Church Nc Hwy 150 where he was a member conducted by Rev. Sam Harvey and Evangelist Noah Frye. At his church he was also a member of The Old Pathways and Spiritual Strings Quartets. Surviving are his wife Irene Hicks Forrest of the home. Two sons: Jeff Forrest and his wife Sherri of Frisco, Texas and Barry Forrest and his wife Elizabeth of Forth Worth, Texas. Two Daughters, Debi Barber and her husband Gary of Forth Worth, Texas and Annette Eggleston and husband Robert of Linwood. One brother, Tony Forrest and friend Rose Lambeth of Winston Salem. One sister, Doris West and husband Charles of Lexington Nine Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday at Christian Baptist Church from 6-8 pm and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to The Building Fund of Christian Baptist Church, 11874 S.
