Billy Hartman

Billy Eugene Hartman, 81, of N.C. Highway 150 North, died Sunday, March 24, 2013. A funeral will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Mike Ester. Burial will be in Reeds Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 4 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. He was born in Davidson County on March 29, 1931, to Harvey Chester and Sallie Craver Hartman. He was a retired employee of Carolina Panel; member of Reeds Baptist Church; and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings. Surviving are his wife, Aleene Hartman, daughter Carol Snyder (Felix) and son Randy Hartman (Terri), all of Lexington; grandchildren Felicia Ann Snyder, Zachary Daniel Hartman and Jacob Dillon Hartman; and brother Bobby Hartman (Linda) of Lexington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
