Billy Ray Hodge, 72, of Arrington Drive, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem from heart failure.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Doug McGee.
Mr. Hodge was born Dec. 5, 1934, in Davidson County to Marvin W. Hodge and Clara Rector Hodge. He retired from Patrician Manufacturing in High Point. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jeanne Hodge Lamar.
Surviving are his wife, Kay Weaver Hodge of the home; two daughters, Becky Hodge Lohr and her husband, Herb, of Lexington and Kelly Hodge Bennett and her husband, David, of Winston-Salem; five grandchildren, Tommy Smith, Zackary Berrier, Jennifer Lohr, Whitney Lohr and Kara Lohr; and a nephew, Mike Pruett and his wife, Vickie.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home and other times at the home.
