Billy Lee Nichols

Billy Lee Nichols, 69, of Florence St., passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 in Forsyth Medical Center after a 2 year illness.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, Sept. 14, 2020 in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The body will lie in state from 2:00 pm Sunday until service time.

Mr. Nichols was born January 28, 1951 in Davidson County to Luther Ernest Nichols, Sr. and Mary Cobbler Nichols.  He was a Supervisor in the Furniture Industry and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by a brother, Wayne Nichols (Wanda) of Salisbury; two sisters, Betty Koontz of Lexington, Harriett Robbins (Scotty) of Winston Salem; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Cancer Services of Davidson County for their love and kindness shown to Billy.
