Blanche Virginia Louya Crotts, 88, of Crotts Drive, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Thomasville Medical Center after declining health.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ, where she was a member, by the Rev. Lloyd Spencer and Rev. Lamar Moore. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Crotts was born Feb. 7, 1919, in Davidson County to John Q. Louya and Willie Belle Fritts Louya. She was a homemaker and member of the Women's Guild at her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Odell Crotts, who died Jan. 4, 2004.
Surviving are her five sons, Craig Crotts, Larry Crotts, Tony Crotts, Gerald Crotts and Jerry Crotts, all of Lexington; two daughters, Shelby York and Janice Shaw, both of Lexington; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, and other times at the home.
