Blanche Miller Hedrick

Blanche Miller Hedrick, 96, of Arnold Road, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Beulah United Church of Christ, where she was a member, by the Rev. Benn Fleming and the Rev. Dale Kennedy. Burial will take place at the church's cemetery. Mrs. Hedrick was born March 3, 1910, in Davidson County to Charlie Artis Miller and Jennie Lee Warner Miller. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Carl Hedrick; a son, Charles Bruce Hedrick; and a brother, Clarence Miller. Surviving are one son, Joe Harold Hedrick of Lexington; one sister, Annie Mae Foster of Lexington; grandchildren, Jane Ragan and husband, Rick, and Melody Meyers and husband, Keith, both of Lexington; great grandchildren, Chris Mize of Charlotte, Tyler Hege, Lillian Meyers and Catherine Meyers, all of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of her granddaughter at 3738 Arnold Road, Lexington.
