Blanche Roberts

Margaret Blanche Mullins Roberts, age 95, of Carolina House, Lexington formerly of Richmond, VA passed away Thursday morning (June 30, 2011) at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday (July 5, 2011) in the Morrissett Funeral Home Chapel in Richmond, VA conducted by Rev. John Bright. Burial will follow at Dale Memorial Park in Chesterfield, VA Blanche as she was known, was born June 17, 1916 in Mecklenburg County, VA to Arthur Mullins and Eva Coley Mullins. She was a homemaker and a member of Berryman United Methodist Church in Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband Maynard Roberts in 1990; two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are; two sons, Stuart Randolph Roberts and wife Joyce of Covington, VA and Dennis Elwood Roberts and wife Sharon of Lexington; three granddaughters, Jennifer Willis husband George, Heather Everhart husband Chris and Melissa Jackson husband Rob all of Lexington; five great-grandchildren; Audrey, Dylan, Connor, Robbie and Delanee; sister in law, Mary Ellen Williams and special pet, Zoe. The family will receive friends at Morrissett Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday night. Local arrangements by Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.
