Blondell Wise Turner

Mrs. Blondell Turner of Lexington, NC, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024.

A service honoring Mrs. Turner’s life will be held Saturday, December 7 th , 2024, at 2:00 PM, at First
Baptist Church of Welcome, with Pastor Chris Griggs officiating. The family will receive friends and
family from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Turner was born on April 4 th , 1936, to Lonnie Wise and Pearlie Mae Yarborough Wise. She was the
retired owner and operator of Bavarian Imports and was affectionately referred to as the “Queen of
Christmas”.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Turner is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Turner, son Eddie
Turner, brothers Willie Wise, Harry Wise, Ervin Wise, Alec Wise, Oral Wise, and sister Wilma
Carraway.

Those left to cherish her memory are son Randy Turner (Kristen), daughter Christy Turner (Greg),
brother Allen Wise, sisters Mary Poston and Nellie Gaskins, granddaughter Joy Turner (Amy) and
great-granddaughter Alysa Turner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist of Welcome Senior Adult Ministries or J
Smith Young YMCA Annual Giving Campaign.

Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the family.
