Bob Wood

Charles Robert “Bob” Wood, 83, of Bremen Drive in Lexington, passed away Sunday January 23, 2022 at Wake forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday January 31, 2022 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Pearson officiating services.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Mr. Wood was born December 24, 1938 in Randolph County West Virginia to James Morgan Wood and Mary Stifler He was retired from Lexington Furniture, a member of the National Guard and enjoyed Amateur Radio, Woodworking and Boy Scouts of America. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Joan Lea Kramer Wood.

Surviving is one son; Scott Wood (Beverly) of Tennessee; one daughter, Lori Craven (Tim) of Lexington; two brothers, Jim Wood (Sharon) of Kansas, John Wood of West Virginia; and one sister, Jean Shannon of Florida.
