Bobbi Jean Pruitt

Bobbi Jean Pruitt, age 54 of Copperfield Lane, Lexington passed away Sunday afternoon at her home, surrounded by her family. A celebration of her life will be held 7:00 pm Thursday evening at First United Methodist Church in Lexington where she was a member, conducted by Rev. Bob Weatherly. There will be no public visitation. Bobbi Jean was born in Henry County, VA to the late English Thomas Martin and Fleda Lorrine Jessup Martin. She was a Teachers Assistant with Randolph County Schools, working at Hopewell Elementary. The American Children’s Home was dear to her and she contributed to them as often as possible. She enjoyed walking, arts, crafts and decorating. Bobbi Jean is survived by her husband, Terry A. Pruitt; son, Bradford Thomas Pruitt; sister, Marilynne Bishop (Richard); and nephew, Ryan Martin.
