Bobby Craver

Bobby Gene Craver, 66, of Craver Road, died Friday, April 22, 2011, at WFBH-Lexington Medical Center. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Ray Surratt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. There will be no formal visitation, however, Mr. Craver will lie in state for one hour prior to the service at the church. Mr. Craver was born March 5, 1945, in Davidson County, to Grady Eli Craver and Mae Garrison Craver. He was a construction foreman for Daniels Construction Company in Salisbury. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Reid Craver; and sister, Lunette Hege. Surviving are his wife, Connie Nance Craver of the home; son, Neil Craver of Lexington; daughters, Melissa Cooper and Gina Gomez and husband, Saul, all of Lexington; grandchildren, Mason Cooper, Bridget Cooper, Joshua Honbarrier, Gabriel Gomez and Nicholas Gomez; brother, Tony Craver and wife, Hope, of Lexington; and sister, Nancy Oakley of Lexington.
