Bobby Cecil Dudney, 48, of Lexington, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center after a sudden illness.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Wayne Knight. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, West Fourth Avenue Extension.
Mr. Dudney was born July 1, 1963, in Davidson County to D. Cecil Dudney and Barbara Loggins Dudney. He was employed with Norfolk Southern Railroad and was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Donnie Dudney.
Surviving are his wife, Tamara "Tammy" Sturdivant Dudney of the home; a daughter, Mackenzie Dudney of the home; sister-in-law Donna Dudney of Lexington; nephew Chad Dudney and wife Heather; great-nephew Christian Dudney; and a special friend, Charcoal.
