Bobby Forrest Hedrick, 76, of Alston Brook Nursing Center, formerly of Chickadee Drive, died Sunday, December 2, 2012, at the nursing center.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012, at National Cemetery in Salisbury with Vickie Miller speaking. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Hedrick was born October 12, 1936, in Davidson County to Forrest Hedrick and Alice Greene Hedrick. A graduate of Lexington Senior High School and Montgomery County College in Rockville, Md., he proudly served in the U.S. Navy and retired after 35 years of service as programmer/analyst at Vitro Corporation in Silver Springs, Md. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Anna H. Clark and Jean H. Rowe.
Surviving are sister, Peggy H. Wilson of Snow Camp; brothers-in-law, Rodney Clark of Lexington and Ronald Rowe Sr. of Welcome;nephew, Ronald Rowe Jr. and wife, Sherry, of Richmond, Va.; nieces, Kathy C. Berrier and husband, Steve, Rhonda C. Holman and husband, Paul, both of Lexington, Teena W. Faucett and husband, Steve, Angie W. Payne and husband, Jimmy, both of Snow Camp, and Cyndee R. Bacon and husband, Richard, of Montana.
