Bobby Clifford Freedle, 81, of Lexington, passed away peacefully, Sunday morning, April 26, 2026, at Bermuda Village Retirement Community.

A private graveside funeral service will be conducted at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree.

A native of Davidson County, he was born on May 5, 1944, to the late Clifford Odell Freedle and the late Ethel Byerly Freedle. He was a hard-working man, and loved farming. Bobby was the long-time owner and operator of Freedle Meat Processing Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Garry Lyn Freedle; sisters, Rebecca “Becky” Byerly Freedle and Peggy Jean Freedle Smith.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Elizabeth Freedle of Lexington; brother-in-law, Willie Gray Smith of Advance; nieces, Linda Dodd of Advance, GeeNeen Freedle Brown (Todd) of Welcome; nephew, Terry Smith (Kim) of Clemmons; and numerous extended family members and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Bermuda Village Retirement Center for their loving care and compassion shown to Bobby during his final years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bobby’s memory may be directed to a charity of your choice.
