Bobby Lowe Hill, Sr.

Bobby Lowe Hill Sr., 79, of Yadkin College Road, died Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Hinkle Hospice House. A celebration of Life service will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends other times at the home. Mr. Hill was born May 27, 1935, in Davidson County, to Ronie Hill and Caroline Ruth Forrest Hill. He was a retired truck driver having worked with Fleet Transport. He attended No Creek Primitive Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Everett Hill and James Hill. Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years Joann Walser Hill of the home; sons, Bobby Hill Jr. and Shane Hill and wife Bonnie, all of Lexington; daughters, Debbie Hill Langley and husband Stanly Cranford of Concord and Barbara Hill Stolts and husband Barry of Ruffin, SC; six grandchildren, Staci, Brandy, Andrew, Bink, Eric and Jason; and six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. The family would like to thank Christa and the staff at Hospice of Davidson County and Hinkle Hospice House for all the love and concern for Bobby.
